Primary School Tuition – Programs and Services
All learning experiences are aligned with what your child is taught at school to ensure familiarity and consistency between school, tutoring and home.
I have completed professional learning in and have taught:
- Multi-sensory language (MSL) – I am an MSL certified educator
- Little Learners Love Literacy program
- The Science of Reading program
- Write to Read program
- 6 + 1 writing traits
- Smart Spelling
- Café reading
- T2L numeracy program
What I offer:
- I provide 1:1, 1hr sessions per week – $100 per session.
- I provide a flexible, personalised learning experience.
- I assess your child to identify gaps in their learning.
- I provide an opportunity for the child, parent/s and myself to meet for an initial consultation to get to know one another, establish learning goals and address expectations of the tutoring sessions.
- With your permission, I can liaise with your child’s teacher to ensure learning experiences in tutoring and school align.
- I provide feedback to you, the parent/s at the conclusion of every session via an emailed report.
- I can provide recommendations for speech therapy, occupational therapy, and paediatric services.
- I teach to the same literacy and numeracy programs as many local schools.
- I can provide support in navigating the school system.
- I am here to build confidence and self-esteem.
- I provide a multisensory approach to all learning experiences.
- A virtual classroom setting is offered to students with genuine barriers to accessing our premises.
- Our comprehensive assessment process not only detects the reasons behind literacy/numeracy challenges but inform our planning.
- We provide an Individual Learning Plan which outline student’s goals, what we and you can do to support them and a weekly summary of their learning achievements.
- Our understanding of disabilities, additional needs and learning differences stems from years of experience in primary school settings.
