Pre Service Teacher Coaching/Mentoring – Programs and Services
I offer assistance, advice and support as you progress through your course. I have up to date current experience as a primary school teacher and can educate you on what you will encounter from day to day at a school and in the classroom. I will explicitly teach you content and act a mentor/coach, responding to any questions or queries you have.
Since graduating and commencing work as a classroom teacher my experience in helping others has included but is not limited to:
- Co-ordinating the pre-service program at my school.
- Readily offering to have pre-service teachers in my class.
- Mentoring graduate teachers.
- Assisting countless work experience students.
- Presenting at school readiness and information nights.
- Leading a team of teachers in curriculum planning and delivery.
- Observing and providing feedback to colleagues on teaching practices.
- Modelling efficient and effective teaching practices to colleagues and pre-service teachers.
- Assisting colleagues in leading challenging discussions with parents.
