Please note that sessions offered during school hours are incredibly beneficial to students who find the school day long and tedious. Tutoring students after school hours is productive for some students but not suited to all, as they are exhausted after a concentrated day at school. Please speak to your child’s classroom teacher about the best time for your child to receive tuition. You may like to consider the following:

  • Opt for tuition at the beginning of the school day and have them start their school day later.
  • Book their tuition session so it includes a portion of their recess or lunch break.
  • Opt for tuition towards the end of the school day and have them leave school early.
  • Book tuition for when a specialist subject is scheduled at school that may not be suited to your child.

If these days or time do not suit you, you are welcome to have your name added to the waiting list. Please contact me via email to do so.

*Sessions will not run in school holidays*

Fees:

  • 1:1 tuition for pre-primary and primary school students – 1hr session $100
  • Payments are made via customer portal.

Initial and subsequent learning assessments are included in your fees. Please refer to ‘Programs and Services’ for more information.

Terms and Conditions

At Olive Branch Education, I reserve time in my schedule to plan for individuals and provide regular, quality learning experiences. In scheduling lessons with Olive Branch Education, you are agreeing to the attendance, payment and cancellation terms and conditions below:

  • Cancellation of a lesson via email, must be made AT LEAST 12 hours prior to the scheduled lesson time in order to receive a make-up lesson. Any lessons cancelled with less than 12 hours’ notice will NOT warrant a make-up lesson and WILL incur full fee.
  • Make-up lessons will be offered at a time convenient to both the teaching practitioner and the student on an alternate day and time. Make-up lessons will NOT be transferred over or added to the next term’s lessons and cannot be forfeited in lieu of a deduction from the next term’s fees.
  • No more than 2 make-up sessions will be available per term. Third and subsequent cancellations will be considered forfeited lessons. NO refunds will be given.
  • If I, as the teaching practitioner cancels a lesson, I will resume the following week. An additional make-up lesson will be offered, otherwise payment can be pushed forward to the next term to compensate for the missed lesson.
  • No shows or failure to notify Olive Branch Education within 12 hours is considered a forfeited lesson.
  • Should you decide to stop taking lessons altogether, please provide me with 3 lessons’ notice. By giving notice I am able to offer a place to the next waiting student before the term/year begins.
  • Payments are to be made via the customer portal.
  • Term invoices will be sent via email prior to the commencement of each term. A ‘term payment’ can be made prior to the first lesson of the term. Alternatively, you are welcome to pay ‘as you go’. Invoices will be automatically generated.
  • Lessons are booked back-to-back, so I am unable to extend a lesson beyond the appointed time to accommodate a late arrival.
  • Having regular lessons yield results. By making the financial commitment, you are making a commitment to your child’s learning development. A lesson here and there will not support growth. A noticeable change in skills acquisition can only be achieved through consistent lessons and a commitment to the allocated home learning activities.
  • Children will be greeted at the front door when I am ready for their lesson to commence. Please use the bench seat provided until I am ready!
  • Olive Branch Education is not responsible for providing before or after lesson care for students. Please ensure you are punctual in collecting your child.

I appreciate your understanding and accordance to these terms and conditions. Your co-operation contributes to Olive Branch Education’s commitment to providing the best educational experience available for you and your child.
